Meet Our Executive Director
Shainai Kavukatema is a dedicated healthcare professional and experienced senior living leader with 22 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including 16 years as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Her career has been built on a passion for serving residents, supporting families, developing staff, and creating environments where quality care and compassion come first.
Shainai has held leadership positions including Executive Director at Oxford Glen Carrollton and Resident Care Director, where she provided oversight of resident care, staff leadership, daily operations, family relationships, and regulatory compliance. Her diverse clinical background includes experience with Windsor Senior Living, local hospitals, hospice organizations, and rehabilitation facilities, giving her a well-rounded understanding of healthcare across multiple settings.
As an Executive Director, Shainai brings together her clinical knowledge, leadership experience, and strong commitment to people. She understands that successful healthcare organizations require more than excellent clinical care—they require strong teams, effective communication, responsible operations, engaged families, and meaningful partnerships with healthcare businesses and community providers.
Her goal is to continue serving families, staff, residents, and healthcare partners by building organizations that are compassionate, professionally managed, financially responsible, and focused on quality outcomes. Shainai’s leadership philosophy is centered on integrity, teamwork, accountability, respect, and service, making her a strong Executive Director within the healthcare and senior living industry.
